Module -11 Learning

A-Introduction

The main outcome of teaching is that learning takes place and for that the teacher must have the understanding of concept of learning. He/she should have the knowledge of learning theories and styles so that he can plan his teaching lessons to make these more meaningful for the learners.

Module -111 Lesson Planning and Delivery Techniques- Teaching Methods

A-Introduction

The planned lesson is halfway through its delivery. The committed and professional teachers do plan their lesson to achieve the objectives of the lesson. The style, method and technique is another tool which can crate learning environment and make the lesson interesting for the learners. It is the most crucial aspect of teaching which can motivate learners and ensure continuity and sustainability in learning.

The successful teaching programs are dependent upon skilled and competent teachers, learning environment and effective instructional material (teaching aids). The teaching aids help and support the teachers in putting the message across. The teaching aid enhances the motivation of the students as well as listening which ultimately boosts learning.

Module V- Class Management 

A-Introduction

Administration is one of the pillars of any management. The administration translates the policy and decisions of management into reality. The weak administration can affect the repute of the organization and it will fail to achieve its objectives.

• Handle difficult behavior in the class

Module V1 Measurement and Assessment

A-Introduction

It is important to assess the learning progress of students. It would help in taking the decision to promote the students to next grade. In case the slow progress is observed it will provide an opportunity to explore the causes and develop strategy accordingly. The development of assessment tools is a skill which the teacher should possess to perform his/her professional

At the completion of the module the participants will be able to:

• Develop essay and multiple tests
•  Acquire grading and reporting skills

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:-

Interactive lectures, Video Clips, Discussion, Brain Storming, Individual and Group Presentations, Case Studies, Role Plays, Home Assignments, Field Visits, Handouts, Assessment tests at the end of each module.

PROMINENT FEATURES:-

The training program is practical and practice focused rather than only theory, involving lot of practical exercises. It covers all the aspects of teaching. The organization has developed data base of potential employers and will help and support the trainees by recommending and referring to these employers for gainful employment. There is choice to select on line course or attend week end classes.

The trainees are eligible to earn foreign certificate after passing the course exam. 

CALENDAR OF STUDIES:-

• The course duration is three months
• The training comprises of six modules.
• The trainees who complete training in six modules will get full certificate indicating all the modules.
• There is provision that individuals get training only in one module for which they will get a certificate
• The individuals who cannot get training on all the modules at a stretch can avail the facility to complete all the modules as per their convenience. However, they will be eligible for the certificate on each module completed.
• The duration of each module is two weeks. Every month two modules will be offered.
• The courses will be offered in the afternoon to accommodate the employed persons.
